Floating Bed Returns
>

Do you recall this?

A top piece of linkbait in 2006...sustainable in that no power is used to suspend the bed, rather it floats on a repelling cushion emanating from magnets in the bed and embedded in the floor.

The same principle could be used in our roadways - for far more comfy and fuel efficient vehicles, powered horizontally by solar fans.

Creator's website is http://universarchitecture.com

It was inspired by Arthur C. Clarke's plinth, you know, with the scary atonal chorus.

New Space Brain test
>

As of April 11, 2009 there is a new brain.com space brain feature, accessible from brain.com. The old test had a Bell X-1 rocket plane. The new one is something different. NASA created a new history page in recent months with all of the Apollo 11 tracks - updated to MP3 from older .wav formats, when you could locate them. The Armstrong audio was remastered and is much cleaner - so it may be cut with some other tracks and sounds without too much editing.
